Special Issue: Transforming Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Volume 4, Issue 4 (2026)

Special Issue Overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the landscape of education by reshaping teaching practices, learning environments, assessment approaches, and educational research. The integration of AI technologies presents new opportunities for personalised learning, adaptive educational systems, intelligent learning analytics, and innovative pedagogical approaches. At the same time, it raises important questions concerning ethics, equity, human-centred learning, teacher roles, digital literacy, and responsible implementation.

This Special Issue of the International Journal of Emerging Issues in Social Science, Arts, and Humanities (IJEISSAH) aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to examine emerging developments, challenges, and future directions of Artificial Intelligence in education.

The Special Issue welcomes theoretical, empirical, and practice-oriented contributions that explore how AI can support inclusive, meaningful, and sustainable educational transformation across diverse learning contexts.
