FROM THE EDITOR
Associate Professor Dr. Lubna Ali Mohammed
On behalf of the editorial board of International journal of Emerging Issues of Social Science, Arts, and Humanities (IJEISSAH), it is with great pride that I am writing to announce the publication of the 1st inaugural issue. Launching this new Journal would not have been possible without the outstanding contributions from the Editorial Board members. This first issue is an evidence of a hard work over last many months.
The committee decided that the journal should be published as a multidisciplinary open-access peer-reviewed online journal with at least one issue annually to be printed. IJEISSSAH is published by Lincoln University College, Asia Pacific Higher Learning Sdn Bhd. It covers the latest developments in the broad areas of Social Science. The Journal has been nearly two years in the making. Although, IJEISSAH is a newborn Journal, it attracted over 20 conference papers and more than 100 participants and later this year IJEISSAH will publish the special journal issue based on the extended papers from the International Journal of Global Education (ICOGE) which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 4th and 5th July 2023. We are also pleased to announce that the release of the first issue comes in coincides with the declaration that Lincoln University College
would become LINCOLN UNIVERSITY.
The idea of creating IJEISSAH was to help undergraduates, post graduates and researchers to publish their original research with full support and guidance by our team. I had the honor to collaborate with my colleagues from Faculty of Social Science, Arts and Humanities and make all the necessary preparations to start the journal and to support the authors in getting their papers published.
Throughout last year, we approached selected researchers with requests to contribute. Thanks to an overwhelming interest on their side, we were able to collect Seven manuscripts (empirical, review and conceptual) for publication in the first issue of our journal and we are planning to stick to that number in the future. Thus, the IJEISSAH was born. This inaugural issue presents articles from the fields of English studies, teaching and learning, online learning, psychology, mathematics, and mass communication.
This inaugural issue would absolutely not be possible without the hard work of many people. Thanks are due first to the members of the editorial board, where the idea originated as well as to our reviewers, who guarded the academic rigour of the articles. My greatest thanks, however, go to my co-editors (copy editor, managing editor and technical editor) who have so generously given much time, work and their expertise to make this project happen.
We hope that this new platform for researchers will provide motivation and inspiration, and encourage them to pursue their interests.
