MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR IN CHIEF

Abstract

Nursing is a process-based occupation and therefore the value proper medical knowledge environment in relation to student nurses and their teachers is an important part of nurse education occurrence. Science and research in nursing is expanding and technology is advancing. Therefore, it is crucial that the Malaysian Journal of Nursing to keep track of the progress and be appropriate with the time. As a result the journal provides the structure that guides our medical practice. The journal is a presentation of clarified, organized, rationale procedure of scrutinizing phenomena of significance to nursing. It is used at this point to designate nursing research implicating or studies that have the potential of affecting the concern of the clients. This issue of the journal is essential within nurse education systems for building educational rapport between the qualified nurses and patients which would make sure of triumphant learning experience. To gain knowledge about nursing research and the process of accomplishing research, it is imperative to gain an understanding of what scientific study is all about and why this technique of gaining knowledge is beneficial to nurses.

The Malaysian Journal of Nursing has a rich source of articles delving in research studies which are contributed by nurses locally as well as internationally. It is the aspiration of the Malaysian Journal of Nursing to inspire nurses to embark on doing research in order the information published can provide an avenue on research dissemination. In view of the value of research, The Malaysian Journal of Nursing has a goal to provide nurses to utilise the information published with the ultimate aim to advance the knowledge, thus improving the health of the people. Our mission is to continue publishing research studies that advance nursing knowledge to improve world health.
