Background: The current study, a continuation of a previous study, explores the relationship between sociodemographic factors and health behaviours among chronic disease patients in Diwaniyah City, Iraq. Objective: To evaluate the effect of the instructional program of health-related behaviour on socio-demographic variables for patients with chronic diseases. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted on 222 chronic disease patients using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis included descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The findings revealed significant associations between sociodemographic variables and health behaviours. Education level and income were positively correlated with healthier behaviours, while age and gender influenced specific health behaviours. Conclusion: The present study emphasises the need for targeted health promotion programs that consider sociodemographic variables to improve health outcomes among chronic disease patients.
