It must be emphasized that the dire need for better training and resource allocation has led to extensive research effort. Three Libyan companies namely; Africa Engineering and Projects Company, Libya Investment Embracement Company and Africa Trade &amp; Investment Company are the focus of this paper, where an innovative approach is applied to assess the impact of training on employee performance, in addition to the mediating role of resources available. The data was collected from 418 employees in Africa Engineering and Projects Company, 236 employees in Libya Investment Embracement Company, and 362 employees in Africa Trade &amp; Investment Company. The data was analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) via SmartPLS 3.0. The results proved that there is a significant impact of training on employee performance, and it also proved the significant mediating role of resources available in the model. The proposed model explained 57% of the variance in employee performance.</p> ER -
